Built for international patients

International outpatient hall at the IHC

A dedicated centre, not a foreign-patient desk.

The International Healthcare Center (IHC) opened on 1 September 2022 as its own standalone building — nearly 20,000 m² — built to care for overseas and VIP patients from start to finish.

  • Full foreign-language service — bilingual one-on-one navigation and bilingual medical records, so you are treated without a language barrier.
  • Insurance direct billing — agreements signed with major commercial insurers; serves foreign, self-paying and insured clients alike.
  • 88 rooms and suites, all single occupancy — private bathrooms, fresh-air filtration and space for family to stay alongside you.
  • One roof, every department — outpatient, inpatient, checkups, endoscopy, radiology and labs, so you never trek between buildings.
  • Privacy by design — an alias is displayed throughout the system, from booking to discharge.

In 2021 the centre became, with the provincial Medical Security Bureau's approval, the only pilot unit for medical-service pricing reform in the province.
